This application pool covers multiple Special Education Paraprofessional positions at various schools throughout the whole school year.
NOTE: Interviewing for these positions will begin the last week in July.
The first day of school is August 28 for grades K-9 and August 29 for grades 10-12.
For most positions candidates must meet one of the following requirements to be considered:
There are a limited number of positions in which candidates who do not satisfy the requirements stated above will be considered for employment.
Additional qualifications for all positions are: Ability to work with a variety of student behaviors and educational needs in a variety of educational settings, ability to work as a team member, human relation skills, communication skills, ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
Special Education Paraprofessional Job Description:
Assists students with disabilities in a variety of school settings, under the supervision of teachers/related services personnel. Responsibilities may include all or several of the following:
Terms of Employment: Nine (9) months, 32.5/hr week
Evaluation: Annual written evaluation by the supervisor.
Must work 30+ hrs/week to qualify for Health Insurance. Other Voluntary Benefits: Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending, Supplemental Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Short Term Disability, Whole Life Insurance.
