Latham Centers, located on Cape Cod, MA, offers nationally recognized innovative treatment and support services for two groups of individuals: 1) developmentally delayed girls and boys, and 2) children and adults with Prader-Willi syndrome. Our primary facilities are located on a campus in Brewster, MA, with independent living and group homes for our adult programs also located in Brewster and other towns on Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Within this comfortable setting, we have brought together a highly skilled professional team of experts, including physicians, social workers, special education teachers, physical therapists, clinical psychologists, and residential and vocational counselors. This energetic and devoted team works together with Latham residents and family members to develop the right approach and best services for each resident. The ideal candidate for this position has a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related field. Massachusetts Social Work license or eligibility for licensure required. He or she must have the ability to handle children/ individuals in crisis safely, with compassion. A valid Massachusetts driver's license is required. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position. $46,700 annually (with Master’s and licensure).
