Position for a Long-Term Substitute. Full time K-8 Special Educator at the Glover Community School starting week of November 16, 2017 for approximately 6-weeks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Vermont teaching license with special education endorsement
• Related experience and/or training in administration of special education standardized, diagnostic, academic, and curriculum assessments.
• Strong knowledge of special education law and process
• Strong knowledge and ability to implement specialized programs in core academic subjects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The Orleans Central Supervisory Union is comprised of six elementary school districts (Albany, Barton, Brownington, Glover, Irasburg, Orleans), the Central Orleans Family Education Center, and Lake Region Union High School. We currently have 1150 students enrolled in our entire district, and we employ a total of 300 staff members. We are located in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, a scenic and rugged area of hills, sugarbushes, farmland and lakes.
