Job Description

Capital City Public Charter School is seeking a Family Engagement Associate to join our Family Engagement Team and support the work of designing, organizing, and managing family engagement programs at our diverse PK-12 school. The Family Engagement Team is focused on our school goal of ensuring that parent participation reflects the diversity of our student population by identifying and reducing barriers to parent engagement. The Family Engagement Associate spends part of their time focused on student recruitment and ensuring that Capital City reaches full enrollment, continues to recruit a diverse population of students, and that prospective families have information about the school and its programs. The Family Engagement Associate reports to the Family Engagement Coordinator. Given the high percentage of Latino families at Capital City, it is essential that the Parent Engagement Associate be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Key areas of responsibility for the position are outlined below. This is a 12-month position which is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime pay under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
