General Duties: • YR after school programs are offered at various schools and locations in the San Mateo County. • Individual is responsible for teaching 4-10 hours every week • Maintain accurate reporting: attendance records, class notes, daily log, incident reports. • Deliver impeccable YR program by implementing YR methodology, preparedness and creating a positive experience for students • Create a learning, inquisitive environment in YR classroom • Interact with parents and students
Qualifications Experience working with elementary age students Experience working in a classroom Poised and comfortable in front on an audience Ability to manage a class independently Great sense of humor and love of learning Ability to lift 15 pounds and carry bins with teaching materials A working car/way to transport supplies and phone is required Additional Information
Hours & Compensation: - Position runs throughout the year and pays $30/class taught (4-10 hours per week between 1 & 5 pm Mon-Sat)
