Tutor/Instructor - Part-Time Afternoons
We are currently seeking a part-time instructor to join our highly experienced and collaborative team. The position will be 2-10 hours per week and considered applicants must be available to start instruction at 3pm at the Stern Center for Language and Learning in Williston, VT. Tutoring sessions are one hour long and are during the hours of 3pm to 6pm. Qualified instructors will have explicit teaching skills in the area of fluency and comprehension, reading, writing, and study skills to work one-on-one with students. We are seeking an individual who has training in Wilson, Orton-Gillingham, and/or Special Education.

Specific duties include:
Review diagnostic data for students Administer pre- and post- instructional tests Create specific goals and objectives for each student Maintain a student binder documenting instruction Create a resource notebook that the student can reference once instruction concludes Communicate with parents, schools, teachers, and special educators Report to the Program Manager of Instruction Strong progress monitoring and reporting skills

Current VT or NH teaching license
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Master degree preferred
