Full-Time Building Substitute Teacher: Employee is eligible for City of Fitchburg Benefits as a 180 day employee. (School Year) Employee qualifies for City Health Insurance benefits, but there is no paid time off. There is no guarantee of continued employment at the end of each school year, the employee must sign a receipt for continued employment each June. Substitutes submit weekly timesheets.
Applicants are required to have an Associate’s degree or higher. A valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education teacher license is preferred. Substitutes submit weekly timesheets.

A Permanent Building Substitutes will assist in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct and, for the classroom behaviors and procedures, maintaining order in the classroom in a fair and just manner. The daily pay rate includes working the LMS ELT hours (7:45 am - 3:36 pm) Other duties as assigned by the school administration.
