Oversee all the technology needs of the School District. The technology coordinator will assume responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the technology program for the district and related support equipment. The primary functions of this position are to provide technology resources to teachers, students, and a variety of non-instructional processes such as personnel records, accounting, student records, library acquisitions and circulating, purchasing and inventory management. Will develop long range plans, procedures, and schedules to provide maximum utilization and effectiveness of technology equipment, software, and services. Will provide for orientation training, assistance and consultation to teachers and staff in the use of computing equipment and software. Will prepare budget justifications for staff, supplies, and equipment. Will develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships with teachers, staff, and students.
