As a virtual teacher, you will…

Empower students to do their best and to achieve their goals
Personalize lessons and coursework to ensure that each student receives the right degree of challenge or support
Put multimedia resources and powerful interactive tools to work in order to motivate and engage students
Collaborate regularly with other teachers to share best practices, subject matter tips, and teaching methods
Maintain regular contact with families, via phone and email, to best support student learning


Compensation Package

Starting Salary: $38,500+ (varies based on certifications, education, and experience)

    Job Requirements

    • Highly qualified and certified to teach Social Studies in Idaho (must have Idaho 6-12 Social Studies endorsement)
      Applicants with multiple endorsements will be given priority
      Must reside within the state of Idaho and be able to commute to Boise

      Technologically proficient (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
      Ability to travel for state-wide field trips, state testing, and professional development as needed
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
