LPOSD is hiring a Science teacher for the second semester of the current school year.
You will be providing science instruction for Physical Science and Chemistry, including AP Chemistry. The salary range for this 1.0 FTE position for the second semester is $19,158 - 27,277 depending on applicable years of experience. There are stipends available for education levels at Bachelor's + 24 credits, Master's Degree, Doctorate Degree and National Board Certification.
Interested applicants must demonstrate proficiency in providing AP Chemistry instruction.

New teachers to LPOSD are paired with a Mentor Teacher during your first year of employment, assisting you in establishing yourself in the profession and the District. Instructional Coaches are available to all Teachers for curriculum implementation, and Professional Development is routinely available.
