Job Description

Hayden Canyon Charter School, an Expeditionary Learning K- 8 school opening Fall 2020 is looking for a part-time business manager Business Manager. The district is seeking a collaborative leader to supervise the school's finances, human resources, and business operations. Areas of responsibility include:
Developing and managing the district’s operating budget, revolving accounts, and grants.
Supervising competitive bidding, completing purchase orders, and managing supply requisition and inventory.
Completing all federal and state reporting.
Monitoring employee benefit programs.
Leading the on-boarding, annual training, and retirement processes for faculty and staff members.
Facilitating background checks
Processing and coding invoices, reimbursement, PO's
Maintaining state approved chart of accounts IFARM
Performing other projects and duties as assigned by the Superintendent.

    Job Requirements

    • The successful candidate will possess: .
      Detailed knowledge of best budgeting and human resource management practices. .
      Strong leadership and communication skills.
      Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, State Department of Education, and students' families.
      Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
      Technological proficiency, both in the use of technology for communication and for instruction.
      Experience using G Suite for Education tool and Excel.
      Prior experience working as a school business mangager
      Minimum requirement: BA in Business Administration
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
