This is position will begin in August of 2020. Idaho Arts Charter School is a K-12 arts
focused charter school in Nampa, Idaho. We are located only 7 miles from the state
capital, Boise. Our area has a vibrant arts community. Our school arts- based program
provides dance as a creative and rewarding art experience where artistic integrity and
appreciation are developed.
Teacher will teach a full curriculum of drama to students from 9-12 grades with the
possibility of additional duties at different grade levels.
1 Facilitating theatre projects that culminate into performance, including
providing feedback to students
2 Teaching a curriculum related to theatre arts and drama.
3 Working collaboratively with the other drama faculty and with classroom teachers
on focused school investigations and drama integration in the classroom
4 Other duties expected of staff including committee work, collaborative art projects
or other duties assigned by administrative staff.
5 Developing lesson plans; establishing and maintaining of a classroom climate
conducive to learning; identifying student needs and assisting in helping solve
health, attitude, and learning problems.
6 Utilize outside resources to enrich the curriculum.
7 Promote artistic expression.

- Current and valid Idaho Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in theatre/drama
- No experience required
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
