In this position, the person will be regularly monitoring IDLA student progress and guiding students through the IDLA course and site. There may be other duties assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To establish specific objectives and lesson plans for directing and evaluating student learning.
Will implement pupil instruction in an effective and efficient manner.
Effectively measure the results of that instruction to determine the level of student success.
Confers and works closely with classroom teacher / school administration.
To report pupil progress to the administration and parents in such form as the administration may direct.
Participates in meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. as requested by supervisor.
To provide for the care and protection of students
To provide for the care of materials, equipment and facilities.
To participate in the planning, evaluation, and upgrading of the school program.
Maintains a positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
Deals with students, parents, staff and others in a positive, polite manner.
Knows and follows district policy.
Knows and follows school policy and the chain of command.
Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.
Assists in orders and inventories of supplies and equipment.
Performs such duties as assigned by the supervisor.
High school diploma
Proficient in the use of technology, Microsoft Office, and related technology skills
Experience in working with children
Classroom management skills
