Position Description – Elementary Instructional Coach (Full Time)
The Elementary Instructional Coach will provide training and support to Full-Time Online Elementary Instructors. Working in partnership with the Supervision Team and Professional Development Team, this position will identify instructional support needs and deliver professional development to help meet each teacher’s needs. They will also support the instructional development of all Elementary Teachers in understanding the Idaho Core Standards and varied assessments, the Danielson Framework for Teaching, and data analysis for the purpose of informing instruction.
The Elementary Instructional Coach will meet regularly with each Full-Time Online Elementary Teacher to provide ongoing training and support. They will model instruction of concepts and effective instructional strategies for online Elementary students. This position will also help build and deliver quality intervention supports to meet the individual needs of online Elementary students.
This position may be located anywhere in Idaho. This position may require occasional travel for training, professional development, or to attend organizationational meetings.

This position can be located anywhere in Idaho. The hired applicant may begin work as early as August 17, 2020, pending the applicant’s availability. This is a one year position that will terminate on May 28, 2021. Annual salary is $50,000. Full time positions are eligible for excellent medical insurance coverage, PERSI retirement, and paid leave. IDLA provides necessary home office equipment and communication and internet connectivity as required by the position.
