Job Description

Certified teachers will virtually manage instructional programs. Through use of the telephone, Internet and various curriculum tools they will consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes his/her instructional program.

TOP: Based on potential student enrollment changes, this position is anticipated to work until the end of the 2020-2021 school year as a full time, 10 month teacher. At that time, the school and department leadership will evaluate the status of this position and could extend it for the following school year if they deem it necessary. Full time positions are eligible for most employee benefits, including medical, dental and vision.

    Job Requirements

    • Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Science (6-12) in Idaho (Idaho 6-12 Natural and Biological Science)
      Applicants must reside in Idaho (or willing to relocate) to apply
      Local applicants must work from our Boise office for the first year of employment. Applicants outside a commutable distance with online experience or strong technology skills may apply
      Strong technology skills (especially with Google Suite, Microsoft OS, and MS Office programs)
      Ability to analyze, develop, implement, and track intervention plans and strategies
      Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
      Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment and high degree of flexibility
      Team player track record
      Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
      Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing, field trips, and state testing events (may require overnight travel)

    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
